Contact UsAt “Hristev and Cherpokov”, we provide legal aid and services in cases related to infringements of fundamental rights guaranteed by the Bulgarian Constitution, the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union and the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms. The main services we provide in the area of Fundamental Rights are the following:
- Legal advice and opinions on protection of fundamental rights in both relations between individuals and between individuals and public authorities and administration;
- Legal analysis and drafting opinions scrutinising the conformity of drafts normative acts with Fundamental Rights guaranteed by the Bulgarian Constitution, the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms and the EU law on Fundamental Rights;
- Evaluation of infringements of guaranteed fundamental rights in Bulgarian courts’ acts;
- Legal aid and representation in cases of applications for extradition, asylum and temporary protection;
- Preparing and submitting complaints, representation before the European Court of Human Rights in relation to alleged infringements of fundamental rights after exhaustion of domestic remedies.
